We use extruded aluminum as a structural part of our hybrid frame. The aluminum is not simply a thin exterior covering. It contributes to the window structure while allowing us to maintain a narrow frame profile.
Our narrow framing helps increase the amount of visible glass. Our design provides 33% more view when the window is closed.
We combine the aluminum exterior with Accoya® wood on the interior side of the frame. Accoya® has been tested for dimensional stability, durability, and paint retention.
Our Pleated Screen provides insect protection when needed and can move out of the way when you want the opening fully clear. We factory-mount the screen before shipping and offer white and black frame options.
A fixed screen can get in the way of an active pass-through opening. Our retractable OpenUp® Pleated Screen gives you insect protection when you need it without permanently blocking the space.
The screen pulls down and stays in place until you move it, then gets out of the way when you want full access to the pass-through opening. It works with any size OpenUp® window and can be factory-mounted before shipping. White and black frame options are available.

Available options include a No-Sill Configuration, Sill Frame, and Nailing Flange for applicable window setups. A no-sill configuration can create a cleaner, uninterrupted countertop or serving surface, while a sill frame or nailing flange may be preferred depending on the wall and installation method.
