Measure Twice Order Once

Measure both the interior and exterior; here, the patio was 1” higher than the floor inside. For gas strut or motorized pass-through windows, add ¼” to each side (½” total width) and ¼” from the countertop up when sizing the rough opening.

What happens if you make a terrible mistake and the window just won’t fit?  We will try to resell your window at a discount and credit you back against the cost of the new proper sized window.

FAQ's

Most frequent questions and answers

Can the gas strut window be opened partially for airflow?

No. Standard gas strut windows are designed to open fully to 90 degrees or remain completely closed.
If you want the ability to stop the window at any position—such as opening it just a few inches for ventilation—you can upgrade to the Motorized Strut System, which allows precise control and adjustable opening.

No. Using external devices like a KickStand can cause the gas inside the strut to leak if the window is stopped midway.
For maximum durability, the window should always be opened fully or closed fully, which also engages the triple weather seals for complete protection.

Yes. Both gas struts and motorized components are covered under the 10-year warranty, starting from the ship date.
This long-term coverage ensures reliable performance and peace of mind.

Yes. The warranty is fully transferable and stays with the window itself, not the homeowner.
This adds long-term value to your home and makes the product a strong investment for future resale.
